Urge Congress to REPEAL the FACE Act - Take Action Now!

Dear Speaker Johnson and Majority Leader Scalise,

Thank you for your unwavering leadership in defending constitutional rights and American values in Congress. We urge you to pass H.R. 589, the FACE Act Repeal Act of 2025. We firmly believe the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act is unconstitutional. From inception to practical application, the FACE Act has always been about targeting pro-life advocates.

Indeed, the Department of Justice’s own numbers show that 97% of prosecutions brought under the FACE Act over its 30-year history have been against pro-lifers. Under the Biden Department of Justice, the law was weaponized in an unprecedented manner, to target peaceful pro-life advocates with aggressive prosecution.

Consider the alarming cases of Mark Houck, a Catholic father of seven whose home was raided at early dawn at gunpoint by armed FBI agents in front of his terrified family, and Paul Vaughn, a Christian father of 11 convicted for peacefully praying and singing hymns outside an abortion facility. These stories reflect a pattern of abuse against moms, dads, grandparents, priests, and other nonviolent pro-lifers who stand for the sanctity of life. The FACE Act has been weaponized to silence dissent and punish principled activism.

Whether pro-life advocates are dragged into court to face charges carrying years of crushing prison time shouldn’t depend on the presidential administration in office. By championing H.R. 589, Congress can act to repeal this unjust law, restore justice for pro-life advocates, and safeguard the rule of law for all Americans.
